He'd done time for shooting at cops. He died Friday after MN deputy wounded

GILBERT, Minn. — Authorities have identified the fugitive killed in an officer-involved shooting Friday during a foot pursuit in northern Minnesota’s Iron Range.

The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Jeffrey John Golnick, 40, of Chaska died of gunshot injuries in the incident in Gilbert, north of Duluth, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
