Deseree Diane "Desi" Simmons "Waabano-Binesiikwe" (East Thunderbird Woman), age 26 of Duluth, Minnesota Journeyed to the Spirit World on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

She was born on August 17, 1991 in Minneapolis the daughter of Kevin Simmons and Deleema Ann Lohnes.

Desi graduated from Harbor City International School.

She enjoyed listening to music and going on walks. Desi loved watching T.V. Desi also loved animals.

Survived by her mother: Deleema Lohnes; siblings: Samara Lohnes, Damarlos Lohnes, Lisa Lohnes and Ashley Simmons; brothers: Devin Simmons and Jeremy Lawver; an uncle: Leonard Lohnes; dad: Henry Flocken; foster mother Carrie Lane; a foster sister: Casi Lane; brother-in-law: Tracy James; aunts: Deseree Lohnes & Clarice Mountain; her fiancée Scott; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her father, her grandmother Gloria Dahl, her grandfather Lawrence Dahl and by a cousin Angela Lohnes.
