Man whose body was found in Maplewood park died of hypothermia, police say

Maplewood police believe a man whose body was found Tuesday in a city park died of hypothermia.

Officers were dispatched about 8:30 a.m. to Battle Creek Park after a passerby reported finding a body, a Maplewood Police Department spokesman said. Upon arrival, they “located an adult male deceased in the park,” according to a Tuesday evening post on the department’s Twitter account.
