3 charged in connection with North Minneapolis gang, drugs

Three members of a Minneapolis gang were charged federally in a drug-trafficking conspiracy Thursday.

Charged were Domonick Deshay “Freaky” Wright, 29, of Brooklyn Center; Brian Funtanous “B-Mack” Mack, 32, of Minneapolis; and Hakeem Malik Dontae “Keem” Flax, 31, of Vandais Heights. They have been active members of the 1-9 Block Dipset Gang, based in North Minneapolis, since at least August 2016, according to their indictment.
