CHEMICAL HEALTH PROGRAMS

PRIMARY FUNCTION

To provide general receptionist/clerical services for program operations, reports to Red Lake Out-Patient Supervisor, full-time position with benefits, salary; DOQ.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Maintain general office filing system

• Responsible for answering telephone and route telephone calls to appropriate personnel

• Greet visitors and refers to appropriate personnel

• Establish client appointments in cooperation with the counselors

• Purchase and inventory office supplies and material sand distribute

• Must be computer knowledge to be able to process letters, memorandums, correspondence and other material

• Must be able to type neatly and accurately

• Arranges for meetings and travel for staff

• Make xerox copies of all letters, memorandums and materials that are part of the Chemical Health Programs business when necessary

• Prepare purchase orders for payment of invoices

• Assists Counselors and Prevention Specialist with scheduling of prevention activities

• Responsible for maintaining and updating telephone extensions of all current employees

• Prepare time and attendance records in a timely basis

• Responsible for routing all correspondence, memorandums and reports

• Assist in maintaining client files

• Must maintain accurate records of all transactions

• Ability to deal with the public

• Must be punctual in work attendance

• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

• Others duties as assigned

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• GED/High School Diploma

• One (1) year of living chemical free lifestyle

• Must possess secretarial certificate from accredited vocational school or one-year experience in office procedures

• Proficient with computer software programs

• Possess valid Minnesota Driver's License and auto insurance

• Must refrain from all mood altering chemicals at all times

• Must be able to follow orders precisely and cooperate with other staff

• Must be familiar with confidentiality rules and regulations

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check
