(MARS Medication Assisted Recovery Services)

CHEMICAL HEALTH PROGRAM

Primary Function:

Responsible for all aspects of patient enrollment by responding to participant inquiries, managing patient waitlist, conducting pre-screening interviews, coordinate Rule 25 Assessments, assist insurance enrollment, manage program waitlist, and completing admission paperwork. Reports to Executive Director, full-time position with benefits, salary; DOQ.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responds to patient inquiries from a variety of sources; phone, walk-in, and social media;

• Pre-screens all patients to determine eligibility and appropriateness for program participation. Refers ineligible individuals to applicable resources;

• Assists patients with insurance enrollment and completing rule 25 assessments to establish funding for program participation;

• Completes client intake and admission paperwork and assists nursing staff with setting up physician visits;

• Assists with the implementation of the programs social media strategy to advance community awareness and increase patient enrollment;

• Manages patient waitlist and facilitates expedited enrollment to ensure maximum clinic capacity;

• Assists counseling staff with coordinating client referrals to higher levels of care;

• Ensures patients medical record is complete, correct and in compliance with program standards;

• Finds client options for immediate support when awaiting treatment placement;

• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and be on-call 24/7;

• Abide by the strictest confidentiality;

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• GED/High School Diploma

• Two (2) years of experience providing direct services to the public

• Rule 25 Assessor certified or willing to complete within 90 days of hire

• Familiar with local resources for chemical, mental, and physical health

• Must have valid Minnesota driver's license and automobile insurance

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check
