Robin A. Villebrun, age 59, of Mahnomen, MN, died Friday, November 3, 2017, at Sanford Health Systems in Fargo, ND.

Robin, "opichi", daughter of Merton "Mex" and Eileen (Mitchell) Villebrun, was born November 24, 1957, in Minneapolis, MN. As a child, she grew up and attended school in Minneapolis. Robin entered the workforce at Froggy's in the Twin Cities and she also worked manufacturing airplane parts. Robin later moved to Bejou, MN, to be closer to her parents. After moving to the area, she furthered her education at MSU in Sociology. In 1980, Robin moved to Mahnomen and began working at the Golden Eagle Bingo in White Earth, MN. When the Shooting Star Casino opened, she continued working for Golden Eagle Bingo in Mahnomen as a pull tab attendant. When her health began to decline, she retired early to enjoy spending extra time with family. Robin has resided in Mahnomen ever since.

Robin was known for her fun-loving personality and her love of frogs! She enjoyed people and loved spending time with her family, especially over the holidays. She had a special place in her heart for her grandson, Dominic, and cherished any time she could be with him. Some of Robin's favorite pastimes included watching the MN Vikings, NCIS, and cartoons. She always had time to go shopping, go gambling, and in turn, look her best. Robin also liked to travel, and a very memorable trip was one she took with her son, sister and nephew to Disney World in 1986.

Robin is survived by her son, Derek Villebrun of Mahnomen; grandson, Dominic; brother, Myron (Beth) Villebrun of Mahnomen; sister, Ruth (Bruce) Clumb of Mahnomen; sister-in-law, Terri Perrault of Naytahwaush; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Bruce Villebrun and John Perrault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Mahnomen. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, with a Prayer Service at 6:30 pm, at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Mahnomen. Burial will be in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
