MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL
FAMILY & CHILDREN SERVICES

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Provide supervision of the Red Lake Family and Children's Services Adult Mental Health Program on the Red Lake Reservation, reports to Executive Director, full-time position with benefits, salary; DOQ.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible to submit bill Medicaid claims to the State of Minnesota
• Provide individual, conjoint sessions, and family therapy to adult population
• Supervise mental health staff
• Responsible for completing Diagnostic Assessments
• Reviewing and updating;
o Client Treatment Plans
o LOCUSes
o Functional Assessments
and other supporting documents
• Require a high degree of self-initiative and motivation
• Process, identify, and assess a wide range of client and family needs
• Able to maintain STRICT confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Meet qualification requirements necessary to bill Medicaid within the State of Minnesota
• Must hold a master's degree in a human services field; psychology, social work, applied psychology OR marriage and family therapy
• Possess a valid and current Minnesota driver's license
• Three (3) year of experience providing services to adults and families
• Knowledgeable in Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services
• Be knowledgeable about local community resources and how to access those resources
• Have computer competency
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively, good record keeping skills, good knowledge of Red Lake families and the community
• Must have a valid Minnesota Driver's license and auto insurance
• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check.
