Ada Louise Hvezda, 24, of Rice Lake, MN, died on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Shevlin, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rice Lake Community Center in Rice Lake, MN. A wake will begin on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Center and continue until the time of the service. Interment will be at St. Phillip's Episcopal Cemetery in Rice Lake, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

She was born in Bemidji, Minnesota to Nolan Hvezda and Susan Stevens on May 1, 1993.

Ada was a proud member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe. She loved outdoor activities, especially ricing, cutting boughs, and playing basketball. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly with her nieces, nephews, and cousins. Having fun at the casino was also a favorite.

Ada was a fun person and liked to tease and joke. She had a beautiful smile. She loved people and was full of joy. She will be tremendously missed.

She is survived by her father, Nolan Hvezda; her siblings, Amy Beaulieu, Sunshine Hvezda, Tiffany Hvezda, Lavina Hvezda, Vickie Hvezda, Brett Frederick, and Macy Hunt; her special aunt Leah Hvezda; her special cousin, Maria Hvezda; her significant other, Shane Teigland; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and many other loved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Stevens; her sister, Elizabeth "Bambi"; her maternal and paternal grandparents, Darwin and Dorothy Stevens and Leslie and Veronica Hvezda; her uncle, Harlan Hvezda; and an infant child.
