Summary

The EHS/HS Health Services Assistant will support the Health Coordinator in carrying out the Performance Standards for health, oral health and nutrition. Perform miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as requested by management. Enter Health specific data into Head Start and Early Head Start Child Plus data systems. Contact families or appropriate staff to inform them of physicals, dental exams or immunizations that are coming due or are overdue. Perform day to day administrative tasks such as maintaining files and processing paperwork.

Requirements

This job requires a high school graduate or equivalent as well as one year office experience including word processing, data entry. Experience working with a culturally and economically diverse population and experience in child and family health and nutrition preferred. Must have transportation available to attend meetings and home visits as appropriate. Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP's values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Head Start applicants must meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
