Summary
The EHS Family Coach is responsible for promoting and enhancing the School Readiness of children and families in conformance with Head Start regulations. The EHS Home-Based model provides high-quality, culturally competent child development and parent support services with an emphasis on the role of the parent as the child's first and most important relationship. The home-based option is designed for families in which the home is the child's primary learning environment. Participants in the EHS home-based model receive a combination of weekly home visits and regularly scheduled group socializations. The Float position is responsible for classroom safety and delivery of education services to children and families, and classroom coverage as assigned.
Implements effective home visiting practices. Engages in responsive positive relationships with families. Conducts family and community development, effective teaching practices, recruitment, record keeping and child assessment data.
Requirements
Preschool CDA; or enrolled in a CDA to be completed within 2 years; or enrolled in a program leading to an AA or BA in early education. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance required.
