Bemidji Pioneer: Blackduck man pleads guilty to sex crime

BEMIDJI—A Blackduck man who arranged to meet and have sex with an undercover officer he thought was a child pleaded guilty to a felony Monday.

Bradley Ray Brands, 51, initially pleaded not guilty in June to to one count of engaging in electronic communication relating to or describing sexual conduct with a child. Brands changed his plea and admitted to the crime during his Monday hearing.
