Ginny "G Money" Bush, age 62, of Naytahwaush, MN, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Sanford in Bemidji, MN.

Ginny Pearl Alvarado was born June 10, 1955, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Ramiro Sr. and Elizabeth (Wadena) Alvarado. As the daughter of migrant workers, a majority of Ginny's youth was spent in various cities in Texas, Florida, Wisconsin and Minnesota. She also entered the workforce as a migrant worker for several years. As a child, she enjoyed her summers with her grandparents. She shared many stories of those happy summers with them where her grandpa would call her his Ginny-jacket. Ginny settled in Naytahwaush and was united in marriage to Merle Bush on July 18, 1981. The couple was blessed with five children. Ginny began working at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen when it opened and was currently working as a PCA. Ginny was diagnosed with cancer just last month.

G Money, a name lovingly given to her by one of her grandchildren, was very family oriented. She devoted much of her time to family, especially her grandchildren, four of whom were living with her. Ginny enjoyed fishing and sewing, personalizing her treasures for her grandkids. She had a sweet and caring personality with a big heart and will be greatly missed by many.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Merle, of Naytahwaush; three sons: Merle Jr. (Lori) of Naytahwaush, Adam (Tracy) Ashland, WI, Manuel of Naytahwaush; two daughters, Elizabeth (Robin) Lenoir of Naytahwaush and Veronica (Tony) Herrmann of Mahnomen; twelve grandchildren: Merle, Anakin, Benjamin, Pearle, Heaven, Robyn, Aleera, Tyler, Alex, Savannah, Susan and Adam; three brothers: Ramiro Alvarado Jr. and Richard Alvarado both of Naytahwaush, and Harold Alvarado, of Mahnomen; four sisters: Gloria Martinez of Mahnomen, Celestina Alvarado of Naytahwaush, Lorenza Alvarado of Grand Forks, ND, and Sheila (Guadalupe) Suarez of Reynolds, ND; brother-in-law, Joe (Rose) Bush of Mahnomen. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Juanita Aguilar and Shirley Kier, her loving grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Roy and nephew, Raymond "Chief" Kier.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Naytahwaush. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 27, 2017 beginning at 5:00pm – 7:00pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm, at St. Anne's. Interment will be in St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery in Naytahwaush.
