Eastern Pequots elect four to tribal council

North Stonington — Members of the Eastern Pequot Tribe elected four new members to the tribal council Saturday, while three councilors’ terms came to an end.

The council now has 12 members, Katherine Sebastian Dring, the council’s chairwoman, who was not up for re-election, said Monday.
