Tribal police to hold final fundraiser for youth camp

Welcoming the first day of summer in with style, the Sault Ste. Marie Tribal Police Department will be holding an all day picnic at the Niigaanagiizhik Building on Ice Circle Drive to help raise funds for their junior police academy.

Wednesday will see the department offering summertime meals and handing out numerous prizes including gift baskets. Doors open at 11 a.m. and will close at 6 p.m. It’ll serve as the final fundraiser before the 2017 junior police academy.
