Complaints prompt police visits to Ramapough camp

MAHWAH — Police visited the Ramapough Lenape Nation's property twice on Saturday, the second day of a prayer ceremony hosted by the tribe, in response to complaints from neighbors.

Two separate calls were placed by residents of The Polo Club, a residential development adjacent to the Ramapoughs’ land, Police Lt. Harry Hunt said.
