Senate Bill amending Lake Co. criminal jurisdiction moves forward

The Montana House of Representatives gave final approval for Senate Bill 310, which amends an existing statute concerning criminal jurisdiction between the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and Lake County.

Monday’s final reading of SB 310 passed 53 to 47. It now heads to Governor Steve Bullock's desk for his signature.
