Debra Lynn Rushman of the Bear Clan, 51, of Inger, Minnesota passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Duluth, Minnesota. She was born December 13, 1965 to Henry Sr. and Izetta (Garbow) Rushman in Cass Lake, Minnesota.

Debi had a heart of gold and always helped anyone that asked her. She was always putting everyone else before herself. She was known by "Ma" as many of her nieces and nephews called her. Debi enjoyed going to the casino to play her Keno. She enjoyed visiting her family, especially her grandchildren and helping anyone that asked. Some of her hobbies include working and being outside, cutting boughs and harvesting wild rice. She also loved to sew.

She is welcomed to the spirit world by her parents, Henry and Izetta, mother-in-law; Debra Kay Robinson, infant grandson; Exavier Duran White, aunties; Frances, Leojean and Emma, uncles; Ernest and Dennis and several other relative

Those she leaves behind are her husband; Eugene Howard, Sr., her children; Cheyenne Rushman, Cody Rushman, Craig (Cassandra) Cloud, Sr., Lillian Rushman, Sonny Rushman, Eugene Howard, Jr., Jazmine Howard and 9 grand babies, her sisters and brothers; Donna (Ernest) Johnson, Mary Rushman, Melvina Rushman, Roland Wilson, Henry "Sonny" (Connie) Rushman, Jr. and Robert "Moe" (Elsie) Rushman, Sr. and many nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

An overnight wake will begin at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Wednesday, April 19th all being held at the Inger Community Center in Inger, Minnesota. Allen Hardy will be her Spiritual Advisor. Pallbearers for Debi will be Zachary Rushman, Robert Rushman, Jr., Ernest Johnson, Jr., Delbert Rushman, Jr., Delbert Rushman, Sr. and Jerome Roy. Alternates are Richard Wakonabo, Jr. and Joseph Campbell. Her honorary pallbearers are all of her children, grand babies and nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Inger Cemetery at Inger, Minnesota.
