In order to receive a phone you must be at least 18 years old, and live on Federally-Recognized Tribal Lands and have at least one of the benefits listed below:
• Medicaid (Yours or your Childs State Insurance Card)
• Food Share (SNAP) (Food Stamp Card)
• Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TTANF) (Letter from TANIF manager)
• Food Distribution (Commodities) (Commods receipt or letter from manager)
• Veterans Pension and Survivor Benefit (Monthly Statement)
• Federal Public Housing Assistance (section 8) (Letter from housing department )
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI) (Monthly statement)
• Bureau of Indian Affairs or General Assistance
• Head Start (Please get letter from head start your child attends)
• Household Income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

FREE SMARTPHONES
North American Local is working directly with the Red Lake Nation to provide free cellular service to our members. North American Local will be on site in the Red Lake area to begin handing out FREE Smartphones to members who qualify. 1,000 minutes talk, 1,700 text and 100 mg of data every month. Members can come the following days:
