Minnesota Organic Conference

Thursday and Friday, January 12-13, 2017

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) invites members of the press to the 2017 Minnesota Organic Conference. The conference is intended for farmers of all experience levels interested in learning more about organic production and growing their networks. Featuring 35 educational sessions, two keynote speakers, and an 80+ vendor trade show, the Minnesota Organic Conference is expected to draw a crowd of 500-600 attendees from around the Midwest. It is the largest gathering of organic producers in the state of Minnesota.

What: Minnesota Organic Conference

Who: Farmers and producers with an interest in organic farming in Minnesota. MDA staff will be available to help facilitate interviews with educators, researchers, and experts on the latest trends and issues facing Minnesota's organic sector.

When: Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Reception to follow)

Friday, January 13, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Where: River's Edge Convention Center, St. Cloud, MN

Members of the press are advised to check-in at the registration desk upon arrival. All educational sessions, keynote speeches, and the trade show area are available to members of the press. Lunch is available for $25. Lunch tickets must be purchased at the registration table.
