Otoe-Missouria Tribe Issues Boil Water Notice

Red Rock, OKLAHOMA - The Otoe-Missouria Tribe has issued a notice for all residents to boil their water if they receive water from the Otoe-Missouria Tribe Public Water Supply.

Water samples from September showed high turbidity levels in the drinking water and inadequate water treatment.

The tribe is asking for all customers to boil their water before drinking. They ask customers to bring the water to a full, rolling boil for one minute before drinking, preparing food, making baby formula, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing infants who may drink bath water, or for cleaning open wounds.
