NORTHERN INDIGENOUS LACROSSE (NIL) VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT

The vision of Northern Indigenous Lacrosse is to see our native youth playing lacrosse locally, statewide, nationally and internationally and to also promote traditional lacrosse games. Lacrosse program development is occurring in various capacities within reservation communities and urban areas and the mission is to combine these efforts in a collective program of recreational and competitive game play.

Players who are on the Northern Indigenous team will receive loaner gear, if needed, including a helmet and other protective gear plus a stick, practice and game jersey, and training at no cost. Games and tournaments will be secured throughout the state and region. Teams will include a focus on position play. Players who are currently on another team will only play with us when available and our program will not replace the current team.
