Candice Faye Thompson, age 61, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at Hennepin County Medical Center.

She was born on May 30, 1955 in Minneapolis the daughter of Leonard Thompson Sr. and Frances (Murray) Thompson.

Candice formerly was employed at Flower City.

Survived by sons: Robert Thompson and Lenny Thompson; thirteen grandchildren and by a great grandchild; four brothers: Leonard Thompson Jr., Ron Thompson, Donald Thompson and Allen Dakota; four sisters: Margaret Skinaway, Karen Manypenny, Izsola Hill and Kari Thompson; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her father Leonard Thompson Sr., her mother Frances Thompson, a daughter Michelle Thompson, a son Adrian Thompson and by a sister and three brothers.

An all night wake will be held on Wednesday, August 10th beginning at 7:00 P.M. at The Church of Blessed Kateri, 3045 Park Avenue S., in Minneapolis. A further wake will be held on Thursday, August 11th beginning at 3:00 P.M. with a service at 7:00 P.M. at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Rice Lake.

Funeral services for Candice Thompson will be held on Friday, August 12th at 1:00 P.M. at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Rice Lake. Reverend Jackie Bernacchi, Father George Ross, Tim Brown and Deacon Joe Damiani will officiate.

Interment will follow at Rice Lake Episcopal Cemetery.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be all her family, nieces, nephews and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Leonard Thompson, Ronald Thompson, Donald Thompson, Karen Manypenny, Izsola Hill and Kari Thompson.
