Jacob Roy Burgoon, Jr (Roy), age 92, of Leonard, formerly of Pinewood, passed away August 4, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, two sisters, wife Shirley. He loved hunting, fishing and visiting with his friends. He also enjoyed carpenter work and building model homes in his spare time. He had a passion for working in his garden throughout his life. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. Survived by daughters: Diane Lumbar, Bonnie Kasowski (Mark), Evelyn Price-Skoog (Kirby), Kay Caccia (Jim), Wanda Olson and Angela Heitzenrader (Vern). 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, sister, Opal Rognstad; loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service 11:00 am Tuesday, August 9th at Ceases Funeral Home in Bemidji. Visitation at Ceases Tuesday 1 hour prior to service with reception to follow at Country Faith Church in Clearbrook, MN. Private interment for family only.
