Speedway returns from rainout weekend with big-money Blitz

BEMIDJI — Bemidji Speedway hosted the Northern B-Mod Blitz on Sunday with the Wissota Midwest Modifieds racing for $800 money. A total of 86 cars rolled into the pits with a near-full grandstand of excited fans to cheer on their favorite drivers on beautiful Sunday evening.

Tim Jackson came away the big money winner completing a sweep of both the $250 Dash for Cash and the $800 first-place purse.

The other big winner was Tyler Jonson in the Wissota Modifieds, winning his first feature in the modified class and then proceeding to switch cars and win the Outlaw Mini Mod feature.
