YMCA ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH SUMMIT ORTHOPEDICS

Summit Orthopedics named official Orthopedic Medicine and Injury Prevention partner of the YMCA

Minneapolis, MN - The YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities (YGTC), a leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, will partner with Summit Orthopedics, one of the largest orthopedic groups in the Twin Cities, to offer healthy living programs for the community. Summit Orthopedics will be recognized as the official Orthopedic Medicine and Injury Prevention Partner of the YGTC.

Both YGTC and Summit Orthopedics believe in establishing partnerships in the community so that all have the opportunity to live healthier, happier lives. The organizations will partner on many health and well-being initiatives, including:

• Y sports leagues for youth of all ages and abilities to develop skills, build confidence and enjoy positive competition

• Y Run event for families and individuals of all ages to come together to meet their fitness goals

• Gathering event for seniors to engage in conversations and activities around healthy aging so they can live healthy, connected and fulfilling lives.

• Injury prevention education shared by Summit Orthopedics experts online and to Y participants in sports leagues and other programs
