Rain, possible thunderstorms in the forecast

BEMIDJI—The Bemidji area had its first taste of thunderstorms early Monday morning and more may be in store this week.

Beltrami County, as well as Clearwater and Hubbard counties, were in a hazardous outlook for thunderstorms much of the day Monday, including for hail and damaging winds. Rain, at time heavy, started to fall in Bemidji at about 4 a.m. Monday and was mostly stopped by 6:30 a.m.
