Wayne Lee Thompson, age 48, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

He was born the son of Edward L. Thompson & Carrie Sayers.

Wayne was formerly a youth worker at The American Indian Center.

Survived by his sons: Michael Thomas, Edward Swan, and Wayne Potter; a daughter: Krista Thomas; three grandchildren; two brothers: Richard Cox and Paul Cox; five sisters: Darlene Fairbanks, Theresa Cox, Dorene Thompson, Rita Marchaud and Roxanne Thompson; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his sister Dawn Thompson.
