Steps in the right direction: Bemichiigamaag Community Walk Against Drugs held Saturday

Approximately 25 people participated in Bemichiigamaag Community Walk Against Drugs Saturday beginning at the Chief Bemidji statue in downtown Bemidji. The walk was held in response to the recent overdoses from the heroin epidemic and to address the drug distribution, as well as the criminal justice system’s approach to drug addiction in the community.
