Arlene Jourdain, 65 of Red Lake, MN died Monday, November 23, 2015 at Sanford Fargo Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Red Lake, Minnesota. A wake will begin at 2:00pm, Friday, November 27, 2015, at the New Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN, and will continue until the time of the service. Interment will be at her Family Burial Grounds in Red Lake, MN, under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

She was born on March 16, 1950, in Red Lake, MN the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Yellow) Roy. She was raised and educated in Red Lake. She married William "Butch" Jourdain Jr. She worked at the Red Lake Child Care Center for over 20 years until her retirement in 2008. Her husband "Butch" passed away on December 30, 2012. She enjoyed cooking, and loved being around and taking care of her grandchildren. Arlene was a loving aunt, mother, and grandmother to all. She cared deeply about the lives and well being of others around her. Her advice and swift ways will be missed. We love you Mom until we meet again! Giga-waabamigoom.

Great-Grandchildren, Adrian Hart, Benjamin Hart Jr., Zoey Jourdain, and Marcell Neadeau,

Brother, Larry Roy of Redby, MN,

Special Niece, Kelly Lovelace,

And Very Special Niece, Nicole Roy,

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Marcella, brothers Arnold, Archie, Howard, Harvey, Johnson, Clarence, Russell, Francis, Hubert, Victor, Curtiss, Gerald, sisters Florence, Maxine, Carol, and Marcella.

Honorary Casketbearers will be: Darlene Jourdain, Cheryl Schoenborn, Rosalie Jourdain, Ramona Spears, Lisa Spears, and all of Arlene's family and friends.
