Tia Margaret White, 44 years old, began her spiritual journey from Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis on November 16th, 2015 with her family by her side. Tia was born on September 4th, 1971 in Minneapolis, the only child of Shirley Ann Daubon and Gregory Burham.

Tia grew up and attended school in Minneapolis. Although she was an only child, she grew up close to her cousins Shilo White, Wynona Day and Diana White as if they were her sisters. Tia was vibrant and loving to everyone she knew and was always the life of the party. She was sweet and kind and was best known for her infectious laugh. Tia was devoted to and loved her work as a beverage server at the Mystic Lake Casino. She always talked about her work and how happy it made her. Tia was very artistic and creative, she was known for her cooking and cleaning, like to play scratch offs and going to bingo with her family. Tia devoted her life to her grandkids Ameriyannah Pahr’eez, Promise Mae, Jayla Shirley Tia and her first unborn grandson King MarKco whom she did not get the chance to meet. Tia was very excited and so looking forward to her daughter Tiara’s July 4th wedding to Maurice Levy. Her presence at the ceremony will be deeply missed.

The family that Tia joins again are her mother; Shirley Daubon, grandmother; Margaret White, grandfather; Simon White and aunts; Sandra Nabors and Barbara White.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memories are her children; Tiara White and her fiancé Maurice Levy, Justin Mack White, Maya Abril Vasques, Dwight Keith White, Brian White, Latisha Chate Williams and JaQuann Devan Williams, her beloved niece, Ashley Marie Connors and her children (known as grandchildren to Tia) De’Viyana Lovella-Elise and Aniyah Marie Connors, aunts; Patricia Marie Wilson and Flora White, uncle; Richard White, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved her very much.

A special thank you to the following families; the White’s, the Levy’s, the Connor’s, the Day’s, the Wilson’s, the McArthur’s, the Nabor’s, the Brown’s, the Gronquist’s, the Moore’s, the Tibbetts’, the Macfarlene’s, the Wogstad-Hansen’s the Williams’ and the Hernandez’s.
