Cub Foods customers should check their accounts if they made a shopping trip on Friday.
Some Cub Foods customers faced payment processing problems — including double charges — due to a computer system glitch at NCR Corp., which also affected retailers nationwide.
Cub, the largest Twin Cities supermarket chain, contracts with Georgia-based NCR to process credit card transactions. On Friday, a “technical issue” with NCR’s software caused a disruption in its payment systems nationwide, Cub Foods parent company Supervalu said in a statement.
