Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Red Lake, Minnesota. A wake will begin Wednesday at the Red Lake Center in Red Lake and go until the service on Thursday. Interment will be at St. Mary's cemetery under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Nora was born November 20, 1947 the daughter of Marian Monica Beaulieu and Royce Graves, Sr. She was raised and educated in Red Lake, attending St. Mary's Mission and graduating from Red Lake High School in 1965. She attended a year at Haskell in Lawrence, KS in 1966. She worked at various jobs including; Red Lake Head Start as an aid in 1965, Red Lake Tribal Council clerk in 1966, U of M from 1966-1968, Comp Health from 1969-1970, Stenographer from 1970-1974, IHS from 1974-1994 and IHS Admin Officer from 1994 to her retirement in 2009. She married Aloysius "Wishy" J. Thunder on March 15, 1986 in Aberdeen, SD. She enjoyed sewing, upholstery, cooking, Bingo, road trips and spending time with her family. She was on the executive board for Wisdom Steps from 2009 to present.

She is survived by her sons - Verdell Beaulieu, Sr. and Damien Thunder; stepdaughters- Mary (Terry) Thunder, Martha (Arnold) Chaboyea, Marlene Oakgrove, Margaret (Orlando) Solorzano;

brothers – Charles Beaulieu, Owen Beaulieu, Earl Jones, Jr., Royce Graves, Jr. and Joseph "Joey" Graves; sisters – Candy Beaulieu, Celeste "Westy" Beaulieu, Glennis Dudley, Bernadine "Deanie" Bailey, Eloise Jallen and Darlene Lussier; grandchildren – Lakota, Christopher, Dax, Verdell, Jr., Senora, Samantha, Sylas, Jersey, Casey and Jaiden.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marian Monica Beaulieu and Royce Graves, Sr.; husband Aloysius "Wishy" Thunder; brothers Verdell T. Beaulieu, Preston Graves and Gary Graves and sister Janet Graves.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Wisdom Step board members, Ethel Pemberton, Audrey Roy, Jan Thunder, Roberta Bellanger, Gloria Cobenais, Christina Dudley, Donna Jones, Flora Jones, Earlene Jones, Alfreda Sayers, Donna Dow, Senora Beaulieu, Kathy Jo Dudley, Darrell Seki, Sr., Dave Dudley, Sr., Duane "Ole" Spears, Sr., Duane "OJ" Spears, Jr., Arnold Pemberton, Jr., Arnie Chaboyea, Robert "Bob" Smith, Raymond White, Douglas Colhoff and Earl Jones, Jr.

Active Casketbearers will be Sheldon Bailey, John Cobenais, Sr., Bobby Newago, Duane Cook, Jr., George O. White, Vincent V. White, Sr., Verdell Beaulieu, Jr., Lakota Beaulieu, Christopher Beaulieu, Dax Anderson, Sean White and Charles Colhoff.
