More than 3,500 Cherokee Nation citizens cast ballots Saturday in two different Tribal Council runoff elections
One Tribal Council race was so narrow — just one vote — that the tribe’s Supreme Court ruled another election should take place.
Unofficial voting results from the Cherokee Nation Election Commission show Bryan Warner garnered 619 votes to Natalie Fullbright’s 526 votes in Sequoyah County’s District 6 race, according to a Cherokee Nation news release.
