Beltrami County Fair- Fairground Updates

New to the Beltrami County Fair this year is additional signage that will assist our patrons in finding just the right spot to park.

For those in need of handicapped parking, we have installed blue (the same color blue as the Handicapped parking signs are) arrows (mounted on posts throughout the Fairgrounds) that will direct folks to the various lots specially signed for handicapped parking. We have expanded those lots to include the entire south side of the Grandstand parking as well as those near the food booths.

During Fair times, while the gate is being managed for parking passes, those vehicles leaving the Fairgrounds through the South (main) Gate will be required to make a right turn to exit and go south only. No left turns will be allowed during the busy times to avoid long lines of cars waiting to enter. This is for the safety of all concerned.

For those vehicles wanting to drop people off, no U turns will be allowed at the main South Gate (we have found this to be very dangerous and also frustrating for those waiting to enter). Instead we have created a specific turn around location right next to the Swine Barn/east of the Schoolhouse for this purpose (2 blocks west of the South gate entrance).

Keep in mind that a carload of folks attending the Fair costs just $5.00 for a parking pass or $10.00 for the 5 day Season Pass (this money is used to pay for utilities and things like toilet paper and garbage pickup). If you drop people off to walk in, it is $5.00 per person.

For those of you who pick up your children after the Fair at the Main gate, please know you are welcome to park on the grass portion right of way at the South Gate and not on the frontage road proper to accomplish this.
