Angeline Mary Fastwolf, NiigaanashiiK "Leading Thunderbird Woman", also known as Squaw Jones, of the Eagle Clan, age 85, of Red Lake, began her spiritual journey on July 4, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 10, 1930 in Red Lake, the daughter of Susan Spears and Raymond Roberts.

Angie enjoyed traveling to pow-wows, people watching and meeting new people. She loved sewing, making quilts and mostly making Regalia for her many grandchildren. Angie's favorite of all time was going to bingo and going to the casino. She took pride in having 37 years of sobriety. Angie took great pride having 106 grandchildren. She loved and was very proud of each and every one of them.

Those family members she joins again are her parents Susan and Raymond, step father; Percy Spears, sisters: Carol Jean Spears and Amelia Jones, brothers; Calvin Spears, Donald Spears and Alex Spears, sons; Jeffery Lussier and Donald Pankow, Jr., great granddaughter; Ashley Stately, nephew; Chad Hardy, Niece; Chassidy Hardy, and daughter in-law; Colleen Lussier.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters; Ardith Lussier of Minneapolis, Laurie (Eva) Lussier of Golden Valley, Karla Pankow of Redby, and Dawn (Brian) Pankow of Red Lake, sons; Bertram Lussier of Redby, David (Jenny) Pankow of East Bethal, and Marcus Fastwolf of Redby, a special grandson Michael (Emily) Pankow of Warroad, MN who she raised, siblings; Donna (Mitch) Taylor of Ashville, NC, Dianna Spears, Carol (John) Barrett, Percy (Gwen) Spears, and Gary (Shirley) Spears of Ponemah.

A wake service for Angie will begin at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 and will continue until the 10:00 a.m., service on Thursday, July 9, all at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah. Spiritual leader will be Mike Dahl. Pallbearers will be Marcus Juarez, Leon Lussier, Percy Lussier, Gary Lussier, Earl Lussier, and Michael Pankow. Alternate pallbearers will be Melvin Brunner, and Doug Brunner. Interment will be held in the Spears Family burial ground in Ponemah following the service.
