Is your home making it hard for you to breathe?

The Red Lake DNR Air Program and American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest may be able to help by making

improvements to the inside of your home.

Who:

Elders, age 45 and older, who have lung disease, including:

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Emphysema

Chronic Bronchitis

What:

The Red Lake DNR Air Program will go to your home, assess your breathing problems and see if there are things in your home that could be fixed to help make breathing easier. If there are problems in your home that can be fixed, up dates may be made to the home at no charge to you.

Examples of problems with your home that may be fixed include:

Updating heating units

Removing household irritants

Other maintenance

Purpose:

To see if making improvements in your home will help you breathe better and keep you healthy
