BEMIDJI — Bagley was the No. 3 seed in the Sub-Section 8A East tournament and needed to beat the top two teams to win the championship for the second-straight year.
“That was big,” Bagley coach Darris Dahl said. “Nice to do it twice in a row and I’m really proud of my guys.”
In the championship it seemed as if it would be a low-scoring affair, with both teams set down in the first inning without a hit.
