Redby woman connected to 11 burglaries sentenced

BEMIDJI—A Redby woman arrested in connection with burglaries in Beltrami and Koochiching counties has been sentenced to prison time in Beltrami County District Court.

Holly Johnson, 31, was convicted of felony first-degree burglary and sentenced to 50 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee. Johnson pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree burglary in March, a second count was dismissed. She was sentenced in Beltrami County District Court on April 24. Johnson has been ordered to pay $3,088 in restitution and a $50 fine.

Johnson was convicted in September in Koochiching County on one count of felony second-degree burglary and one count of felony level theft. An 18-month prison sentence was stayed for 10 years for the burglary charge. Johnson was sentenced concurrently to a year and one day in prison on the theft charge, which was stayed 10 years.
