2 Men Sentenced for Crimes Committed on Red Lake Indian Reservation

Two men have been sentenced for separate crimes against women committed on the Red Lake Indian Reservation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.

Thirty-four-year-old Christopher Michael Strong of Red Lake was convicted of one count of aggravated sexual abuse and was sentenced Thursday, May 7, to 30 years in prison and five years of supervised release.

Separately, 29-year-old Quentin Lee Strong of Redby was convicted of assault resulting in serious bodily injury. He was sentenced Monday, May 11, to 10 years in prison and three years of supervised release.
