BLACKDUCK — Brenda Cassellius, state Commissioner of Education, has given school districts with four-day attendance schedules the thumbs up for next year.
As of Tuesday, the commissioner approved the four-day week for the Blackduck School District and four other districts statewide for the 2015-2016 school year.
"The commissioner said she is approving it because of the uncertainty of the pending legislation," said Josh Collins, communications director for the Minnesota Department of Education.
