UNITY Seeks Education and Career Partners for Expo at National Conference

Mesa, Arizona—Education institutions, armed forces, businesses, corporations and government agencies have an opportunity to interact with more than 1,200 American Indian and Alaska Native youth at the National UNITY Conference in mid-July in Washington, DC.

UNITY, which stands for United National Indian Tribal Youth, will host a Education Career Expo (ECE) on Monday, July 13, at the Renaissance Capitol Hill. The ECE promises to be a premier event that will highlight exhibitors and workshops to help youth create strategies that will lead to promising educational and career futures.

The goal of the Education Career Exposition is to provide American Indian and Alaska Native youth with a rich experience of meeting one-on-one with business leaders, federal programs, scholarship organizations, and various industries that may include manufacturing, aerospace and transportation business, arts, communications and information technology, health science, human services and architecture/construction to further deepen their career planning experience.
