Michelle Dawn Earth

Michelle (Greene) Earth was a very strong woman who faced many challenges throughout her time here on earth. One thing that was always present was her joy of being a mother. She lived in South Minneapolis as a single mother of 5, and although life presented her with many challenges, she was always like a candle in a dark room, bringing joy to those who surrounded her. Michelle passed onto the spirit world on Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 unexpectedly at the age of 40. Her family rests assured that her journey will be a peaceful one.

Mom loved music, her kids, and her dad; she loved her family a lot and would always give a home to anyone.

Michelle was a good mother to many in addition to her five children: Liberty (22), Justice (20), Michael (18), Brandon (16) and Freedom (13); and one granddaughter, Sequoyah (1 ½). Liberty is a full time student at Augsburg College, Justice is a student at MCTC and Michael, Brandon and Freedom are all still in middle/high school. She is also survived by her husband, Robert Bad Moccasin; her mom, Kathy Pierre; her sisters, Cheryl Green, Rhonda Earth, Kelly, and Gina; and her brother, Marvin Greene.

Preceded in death by her dad, Donald Earth; sister, Angela Green, and brother, Ralph Greene.

Her family will be extremely grateful for any and all contributions in memory of their mother, Michelle. Miigwech (Thank you)

My mom. It saddens me every day that your not here. But I'm trying to remain strong. At 21 I got the kids a house, having a job and going through custody stuff for them. I miss you everyday and thank you for teaching me everything I need to know. Love you mom. I will never forget you. For those who are reading this, I encourage you to spend and cherish every minute spent with your parents. You never know when the creator wants them back. I miss my mom every minute of the day!! - Justice
