Franken to visit Bemidji, Bena on Saturday

BEMIDJI-- U.S. Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., will be in the Bemidji area Saturday to discuss health care in rural areas and to visit the Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School near Bena on the Leech Lake Reservation, his office said in a release Thursday.

At 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Franken will be at the BSU Recreation Center, where he will help kick off the March of Dimes Walk. He will address participants at approximately 10 a.m, the release said.
