Sacred Journey - Elder/Child Abuse Prevention Walk held in Red Lake

The Sacred Journey - Elder/Child Abuse Prevention Walk was held on Thursday, April 16th starting at the Red Lake Family & Children Services Parking Lot and ending at the Red Lake Senior Apartments.

There were educational resources, connections, workshops, health care and crafts at the Red Lake Casino from 9 AM - 3 PM

The Walk in Honor of Children will take place in the Schools with the children on April 27, 2015.

Elder/Child Abuse has NEVER been a Native American tradition.

This event was sponsored by Red Lake Family & Children Services and the Red Lake School District.
