National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week April 12-19, 2015

This is a very appropriate message of thanks from the APCO (Association of Public Safety Communications Officials) President, John Wright:

During this week of celebration, I would personally like to thank the men and women who work in our nation's 9-1-1 PSAPs. Thank you for having to take winter vacations, missing birthdays, holidays, and family events. Thank you for the long hours, working many times in critically under staffed centers, and for your unwavering dedication to protect and serve. Thank you to your families that support you every day throughout the year and for their personal sacrifices so that you may help others in need. Thank you for the lives you have saved, the lives you have positively impacted, and for the lives you will save as a result of choosing this noble profession.

Hats off to our fine dispatchers of Beltrami County and all of those in our area who assist each other and us- a family of hard working folks!
