Rain, Sleet, Snow, and Fog

A mixture of snow, sleet, and rain is making for a sloppy evening across the region. In the northern parts of the area, generally north of North Dakota and Minnesota Highway 200, it is cold enough for snow and there are some areas with accumulations. Roads are slick in spots. Further south it is mostly rain or rain and snow but generally not sticking to the ground. The precipitation will move out of North Dakota early tonight, lingering across northwestern Minnesota a little longer. Late tonight, areas of fog will be developing. The forecast is looking better, with a nice warming trend for the rest of the week. Meteorologist John Wheeler
