Police officer who kicked Native man reinstated in Saskatchewan

A police officer in Saskatchewan who kicked a homeless man to the ground has been reinstated after a court overturned his assault conviction.

Officer Rob Power can be seen on a newly-released video confronting Eddie Stonechild in front of a detoxification center in downtown Regina in May 2012. The footage shows him kicking Stonechild, who hit his head on a concrete wall and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment.
