BEMIDJI-March 24, 2015 -- The Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF) is delivering Engaging Volunteers Across Generations, a training that will teach participants how to identify the needs of volunteers no matter what their age. Learn how Millennial, Generation X, Boomers and Traditional generation volunteers are similar and different.
As a participant, you will be able to identify how generational characteristics can help your organization be successful recruiting and retaining volunteers.
This workshop will be conducted by Mary Quirk, Executive Director, Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration (MAVA). Quirk led the development of a system for delivery of best practices information that has reached over 1,400 leaders of volunteers in all regions of Minnesota. She has a master's degree from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a master's degree from the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota
The session will be offered April 28th at University of Minnesota Crookston. Early registration is encouraged; the deadline is April 24th. There is a $45 fee for the workshop- to register, please visit http://www.nwmf.org
