DROP-COUNT TEAM SUPERVISOR

RATE OF PAY: Depending upon experience

LOCATION: Seven Clans Casinos –Thief River Falls, MN

OPENS: March 17, 2015

CLOSES: March 31, 2015

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Under the supervision of the General and Assistant General Manager is responsible to oversee assigned shift for the counting and security of currency for Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedules employees, assigns duties and ensures adequate coverage is maintained as required.

• Provides training to new employees, informing them of the policies, procedures and routines to be followed. Ensures all new employees are properly trained.

• Verifies and accounts for currency transactions to and from the vault, including American and Canadian currency and coupons.

• Clips and straps currency; initials straps for a tracking method.

• Uses currency counting and calculator machines to assist with counting.

• Completes necessary paperwork to ensure accurate paper trail is maintained at all times; submits balance sheets daily.

• Responsible to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and maintained.

• Analyzes and recognizes deficiencies or problem areas and provides solutions to achieve desired results.

• Assists with preventative maintenance on equipment and cleaning work areas.

• Assists in other areas of the Cage/Vault as required.

• Assists with transferring cash, currency, coupons to vault along with proper documentation to the vault for bank deposits.

• Exchanges currency, coupons and/or chips with other personnel.

• Ensures security measures of vault are maintained.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

• Must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Red Lake Band of Chippewa and the Tribal-State Compact for gaming.
